Privacy Policy

Version 1, 29 September 2026. This is a translation for convenience; the Russian text is the legally binding one.

This policy explains what data the learning platform edueng.ru keeps about you, why and for how long, and what you can do about it. It follows Russian Federal Law No. 152-FZ "On Personal Data".

Who processes your data

Olga Sergeevna Yakovleva, self-employed English teacher, is the data controller.
For any question about your data: olgayakovlevajob@gmail.com.

Whose data

Students who study on the platform and teachers who work on it.

What we keep

We do not collect passport details, phone numbers, addresses, payment details or health information. We use no advertising or analytics services and no third-party cookies.

Why

To run lessons, check your work, keep the schedule and show your progress to you and your teacher. Your data is not used for anything else.

Legal basis

Your consent, given when you register, and the arrangement for lessons to which you are a party.

What happens to the data

It is collected, recorded, stored, corrected, used and deleted — only on the platform's server and only for the purposes above.

Where it is stored and who receives it

On a server in the Russian Federation. Your data is not shared with anyone and never sold. The server is rented from a hosting provider, which supplies the hardware and does not process the platform's data.

Your data can be seen by you, your teacher and the platform administrator.

How long

While your lessons continue and for no more than one month after they end; then it is deleted. Backups are kept for a limited time and replaced in rotation, so deleted data disappears from them within two weeks.

Your rights

At any time you can:

Write to olgayakovlevajob@gmail.com — you will get an answer within 10 working days. After consent is withdrawn or data is deleted, you will not be able to continue studying on the platform.

How your data is protected

Passwords are stored only as hashes, the connection to the site is encrypted, and access is limited by role: a student sees only their own data, a teacher only their own students. Backups are made regularly and restoring them is tested.

Students under 18

If a student is under 18, consent to process their data is given by a parent or other legal guardian.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will appear on this page and your teacher will let you know about the changes.
